What if I have an emergency?
If you have an emergency, I will work hard to schedule you immediately. Call me at 206-920-2222 and I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
If I need to cancel or reschedule, how much notice do you need?
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. Please give 30 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
How long is one session?
One session is one hour, including a review of your history and progress.
How long is a course of treatment?
That depends on your body. My practice philosophy is "find it, fix it, and send you on your way." My goal is to restore you to a place of ease as quickly as possible.
How long do I have to keep coming back?
You may return for routine "tune-ups," once a month or every
few months. Or you may wait until you next experience an ache, pain or injury to return for treatment. Or you may never need to return.
Is it okay to go to yoga/play basketball/go for a run after a session?
You get the best results if you relax the afternoon/evening after a session. Your body will be getting accustomed to the structural changes made during the session, your soft tissue will be reorganizing, and waste products released in the session will be processed. That's enough activity for 24 hours or so after the session!
I do recommend a leisurely walk on a flat path after the session.
Where are you located?
On Capitol Hill, just north of Group Health Central, on 15th Ave. East in Seattle. Click here (link to Directions) for directions.
Where do I park?
There is a free off-street parking place just for you. Click here for parking information.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes and no:
- I bill on-the-job injury claims to Labor and Industries directly.
- If you have a Personal Injury Protection (PIP) auto accident claim, or health insurance that covers massage and offers out-of-network provider coverage, I will provide you with a statement that you may submit for the reimbursement your coverage provides.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, through Google Checkout. Click here for directions on how to use your credit card to pay for a session.
How much does it cost?
The fee for a sixty-minute session is $130.
